The project
The project You and I are Equal is the synthesis of this intent which has been rendered graphically and in two languages, that of the country in which it was born, Italy, and the most widespread, English. The others won't mind us but, it is always possible to adapt the graphics with the text in other languages, just ask us or send us the translation in your preferred language and we will let you have the necessary that we are about to describe below:
We have thought of a very simple way to allow you to spread the idea of equality by creating a simple and compact graphics that can be easily reproduced on badges (or pins), stickers, t-shirts... and wherever possible. Their spread does not require any particular explanation... anyone who agrees with the concept of equality for anyone, in relation to universal rights, will have no difficulty in making oneself a spokesperson or even just the bearer or diffuser of a sticker, pin, etc...
In the link you find on this page you can download the files ready to be reproduced with any printing technique.
The project was created to be entrusted to the waves of the web as an agile vehicle to be spread without limits or borders. For this we make this document freely available together with the material to be reproduced.
We only ask that, anyone who agrees with the idea of spreading the concept of equality, takes charge, or finds who can do it,to print a certain number of pins and / or stickers (applicable and distributable easily) or other at will.
Especially the adhesives which are very cheap and easily made "viral" materials: apply them wherever possible while maintaining respect for good taste and education.
Raise awareness
We think it is possible to easily raise awareness on this issue in any company in which there are people already oriented to consider equality as a generator of cohesion and development of sensitivity in every community.
Anyone who prints and distributes - where they believe - You and I are Equal will become a conscious awareness multiplier and active participant in the movement in favor of all equality.
We know that the world of women is already sensitive to this necessary awareness and it is in fact in that context that is now very present in various forms, that the idea You and I are Equal has taken the cue to seek membership and broaden the spirit of equality to every human being.
We believe it is important to make it reach especially young people (from middle school upwards) making sure for them to be the most active diffusers... Young people have more time ahead, more imagination, fewer superstructures... and they can infect the world with greater enthusiasm and lightness.
The school could therefore be a place where awareness on the subject could be spread more easily. A young person who grows up by absorbing criteria of openness and inclusion will become an adult capable of making these values even stronger in the community.
But let's not forget social media which can be an important vehicle for making this feeling of equality viral. We do not need to tell you that the more you spin around physically and on social networks "You and I are Equal" the more we will be able to talk about it even on classic media.
