Brief description of symbolic choices

Colours

For the Io e te siamo pari logo, bright colours were chosen because they are appealing and indicate youth and innovation.
In order to support inclusion, and not to create confusion among the colours representing gender, pink, light blue, rainbow range and other colours combined with strong social campaigns were excluded.

The colour red was considered suitable because in the West it is perceived as a stop sign, it is combined with promotions, danger and strong emotions.

The colour yellow, on the other hand, is perceived as a source of energy, mental activity, growth, positivity and combined with orange is a range linked to sociability and renewal.

Naturally, shades were chosen that did not clash with each other and were suitable for colour-blind vision. In particular, the social colours are:

  • Yellow: Pantone 115 C, CMYK 0 4 88 0, Hex/Html FDDA25, RGB 253 218 37
  • Orange: Pantone 2010 C, CMYK 0 27 100 0, Hex/Html FFAD00, RGB 255 173 0

The symbol

The symbol of the logo indicates the spiral, which is life, cyclical continuity and regeneration, but also evolution because it has a central core that opens up towards infinity.

The logo

Finally, the font of the logotype is calligraphic because the underlying concept is a simple, immediate thought, within everyone's reach. The calligraphic font is suitable for pay-offs that are immediate, easy to understand and memorise.
